Enters Judas! How Ibadan Billionaire, Kola Karim Betrays Deziani , Brother And Biz Partners To Rise To The Top (how he lands in Buhari’s bad book)

It’s a chronicle of betrayals…an endless desire to get to the top not minding who got crushed that had set Ibadan billionaire, Kola Karim aside from his associates and contemporaries. Infact, all those that had come across him claimed he has perfected the ways of Judas to operate in the modern world…to them, Kola’s kiss is poisonous, a venomous act that kills with speed.
Those who know him many years ago as a commodity hustler in the United Kingdom were surprised when he started living flamboyantly, acquiring properties in choice areas. Little did they know that the tailor had hit a fortune! Kola’s dalliance with Deziani Maduekwe which later became a full blown affair has pitched him on higher ground. With Deziani as the Minister for Petroleum, Kola became a god, sealing deals, flying private jets and throwing classy shin digs as he became the official representative of the Oil Minister, holding the magic wand that could transform a common pauper to an instant billionaire.
Kola had a good time, what many didn’t know was that he was more powerful than Deziani’s other associates, Jide Omokore and Kola Aluko. Kola Karim was the other Kola in the background, the darling of Ms Maduekwe.
The 2015 election came and power changed hands, men of the moment became men of yesterday. The powerful Deziani ran into troubled waters with the new government, efforts to reach the no-nonsense President, Muhammadu Buhari was futile, with nowhere to hide, Deziani scampered to the United Kingdom.
The government beamed its searchlight on her associates, Jide Omokore and Kola Aluko became regular visitors of the EFCC…what of Kola Karim? many asked. Unknown to may, the Shoreline Managing Director had struck a deal with the government and revealed all he knew about the many atrocities committed during the Jonathan’s regime. He did this to escape investigation and operated freely, even enjoying the patronage of the Buhari/Osinbajo government as his company maintains the oil pipelines.

When Bitcoin Came into the lime light, it was barely nothing. I remember an article in 2013 where a man bought a burger with 10,000 Bitcoin.
If that individual still has the 10,000 Bitcoin (or BTC) in 2017, the he would be $10,344,400 (NGN 3,620,540,000) richer. I guess the man’s second and even third Generation won’t need to labour so much
To cut the long story short, if you have not invested in Bitcoins yet, you need to. In the next couple of years, Bitcoin is going to be worth up to $2000 per Bitcoin. As at the time of this post, 1BTC - $1035.Hence if you have just 1BTC, you have a whooping NGN 450,000 (using 450 as the exchange rate).

‘Buhari Should Sack All His Ministers And Economic Advisers’ -AMPON Chairman, Wole Arisekola

Publisher and Chairman of the Association of Online Media Practitioners of Nigeria (AMPON) Wole Arisekola has queried the approach of the Buhari administration to its anti-corruption crusade.
Though many see the war against corruption as timely; especially to restore the nation’s dignity, retrieve her collective wealth stolen by the few, and put the nation on the path of greatness, others see the war as lopsided, vendetta, apparently, targeted at the opposition to the government.
In his recently expressed open mind opinion, tagged ‘School of Thought’, Arisekola averred that the war against graft must be fought within known conventions, rather than on spontaneous intuition without concrete evidence.
Goje“I give you a very good example. Look at the case of Danjuma Goje, former Gombe State governor. He has no reason to be in court. He is one of the best Governors that this country has ever produced. When his state was collecting the lowest allocation in the country, he built roads, built an airport, built a university. He did so many wonderful things in that state. Can you compare Gombe State with Zamfara State now? They were created at the same time. But the difference is clear because Goje transformed the state. But every day, you read on the pages of newspapers that Danjuma Goje is being taken to court. Why? You are supposed to judge people on the basis of their performance. There is no former Governor in this country that can claim he outperformed Danjuma Goje. He is an example of good governance in this country. And you have so many people that spent about 99 per cent of their allocations on frivolities walking freely in town”, he said.

LIST OF BUHARI’S UNDER PERFORMING MINISTERS!

When their names made President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial list, many Nigerians, acquainted of their impressive resumes, were full of high expectations about the positive contributions they would make to the administration. But not so anymore, as just a little over a year after their appointment as ministers, they are seen to have gone into hibernation. This report spotlights those ministers that Nigerians have ‘forgotten,’ either on account of what is believed to be their poor visibility or underperformance.
Dr. Kayode Fayemi
Though the name of the ministry has since been changed from the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development to the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, observers believe that not much has changed or been witnessed in this sector full of economic potentials.
The Minister of Mines and Steel Development Dr. Kayode Fayemi had on assumption of office pledged his commitment to developing the solid minerals sector, while ironically pointing at the government’s own inadequacies at identifying what is good for Nigeria and mustering the will to promote it.
He initially came across as one of the top five in Buhari’s cabinet that have the expertise and experience to see the government deliver on all its promises to the Nigerian voter.
Also, given the policy of the Buhari-administration on diversification, Nigerians expected his ministry to be in the lead in generating non-oil revenue for the nation.

He identified limited infrastructure, insufficient geological data, limited corporate federalism, illegal artisanal mining community challenges, weak institutional capacity and insufficient funding as the bane of the sector and promised to take these numerous challenges head on, and deliver on the Federal Government’s vision, of building a mining sector that Nigerians can be proud of 30 years or more from now.
However, with over a year in office, Fayemi has not recorded any visible success in addressing the challenges he identified as bedeviling the solid mineral sector.
